What it does
Defines how the deposit amount is calculated for the order: as a Percentage (%) of the item price or as a Fixed Amount ($).

Settings

• Deposit Type: Percentage (%) or Fixed Amount ($)
• Deposit Percentage: numeric value used when Percentage (%) is selected
• Deposit Amount ($): numeric value shown when Fixed Amount ($) is selected

Behavior & limits

• The selected type applies wherever global deposits are enabled.
• Percentage calculates the deposit from the product price shown to the customer.
• Fixed amount charges the same deposit value regardless of product price.
• Timing for Taxes / Shipping / Additional Fees is managed separately in Advanced Cost Handling (Pro).
