What it does
Applies the deposit flow to variable products. The deposit is calculated from the selected variation so customers see the correct amount for size/color/model.
Settings
- No extra switches required: variable products inherit your global deposit rules.
- Works with your chosen Deposit Type (Percentage / Fixed) and Default Selection.
Behavior & limits
- Customers must choose a variation to display the final deposit value.
- Percentage deposits are calculated from the variation price; Fixed deposits use the same amount for all variations.
- With Force Deposit (and optionally Hide Checkbox), variable products run as deposit-only.
- Exclusions apply to variable products too (excluding the product removes the deposit flow for all its variations; category/on-sale exclusions are available in Pro).
