What it does
Defines when to collect Taxes, Shipping, and Additional fees in a deposit flow: with the initial deposit or with the final payment.

  • Taxes — Apply with deposit / Apply with final payment
  • Shipping fee handling — Apply with deposit / Apply with final payment
  • Additional fees handling — Apply with deposit / Apply with final payment

Behavior & limits

  • Moves each charge entirely to either the deposit or the balance stage (no split/proration).
  • Affects what customers see at checkout and how order totals are stored (deposit vs remaining balance).
  • Tax rates, shipping methods, and fees still come from WooCommerce; this control only decides when they’re collected.
  • In the Free build these fields are locked/unavailable.
