What it does
Defines when to collect Taxes, Shipping, and Additional fees in a deposit flow: with the initial deposit or with the final payment.
Settings
- Taxes — Apply with deposit / Apply with final payment
- Shipping fee handling — Apply with deposit / Apply with final payment
- Additional fees handling — Apply with deposit / Apply with final payment
Behavior & limits
- Moves each charge entirely to either the deposit or the balance stage (no split/proration).
- Affects what customers see at checkout and how order totals are stored (deposit vs remaining balance).
- Tax rates, shipping methods, and fees still come from WooCommerce; this control only decides when they’re collected.
- In the Free build these fields are locked/unavailable.
