When to use #
Your support inbox is full of “Can you send me the invoice?” requests, and your team wastes time generating PDFs manually. This use case makes the invoice always one click away for both customers and staff—no tickets, no delays.
Outcome #
- Customer downloads the PDF invoice instantly from order emails and from My Account → Order.
- Admin prints/downloads the invoice right from the Orders list or the Order edit screen while packing or assisting a customer.
- Support volume drops because the experience is self-serve.
How it works in real life #
1) Customer receives the order email #
The invoice arrives attached as a PDF, ready to save or print.
2) Customer returns later to My Account #
They find a PDF Invoice button in the Orders list and inside the Order details page.
3) Your team is packing or on a call #
From WooCommerce → Orders, staff clicks the invoice button in the Actions column to print or download without opening each order.
4) You’re editing an order and need the PDF #
In the Order edit screen, use the PDF Invoice button in the plugin metabox to generate/download on the spot.
Why this works #
- Zero friction for customers: the invoice is exactly where they expect it.
- Faster operations: staff prints from the screen they already use.
- Lower support load: fewer “please send my invoice” requests.
Pro tip #
Pair this with Attach Invoices Automatically to Order Emails to ensure every relevant email includes the PDF by default.
