Quick Summary #
- Add a new status with a clear Title & Slug.
- Set Icon, Colors, Status View, and enable Actions / Bulk.
- (Optional) Turn on the email and verify it in Orders.

1) Open the “Add New Status” form #
Path: WooCommerce → Orders → Order Status → Add New.

2) Title & Slug (naming that won’t break later) #
- Title: what your team and customers will read (e.g., Packing).
- Slug: lowercase, no spaces (e.g.,
packing
). - Keep it short and specific (avoid marketing words).
3) Icon, Colors & Status View (make it readable) #
- クリックAdd Icon and pick a simple, recognizable icon.
- Set Color and Text Background Color for the badge contrast.
- Status View:選ぶName or Icon for the Orders list.
4) Show it where the team works (Actions & Bulk) #
Enable both so the status appears in single-order actions and in bulk menus.
- Add to actions on orders page → ON
- Add to bulk actions list → ON
5) (Optional) Notify via email #
Turn on the built-in email for this status and choose recipients.
- Email Notification → ON
- Recipient: Customer (default) and/or Admin
- Email Copy: add extra addresses if needed
6) (Optional) Business logic toggles #
Use these only if they match your workflow. You can skip them for the first status.
- Paid Status: counts as paid in reports/logic.
- Download Access: grant downloads when the order hits this status.
7) Save and verify in Orders #
クリックPublish/Save. Then go to WooCommerce → Orders and confirm:
- The Status column shows your new badge on a test order.
- Your status appears in the single-order actions menu and Bulk actions.
8) (Optional) Send yourself a test #
Change an order to your new status:
- Confirm the note/history reflects the change.
- If you enabled email, verify the message arrives and the subject/heading are correct (edit later in Woo → Settings → Emails if needed).
